At Methods Therapy, LLC Our mission is to EDUCATE clients about their mental health diagnoses and interpersonal issues. PROMOTE awareness of the adversity clients are faced with. TRAIN counselors on more effective ways of advocating, providing therapy, and working with clients that have a mental health diagnosis. ENCOURAGE clients to be active in their therapy and facilitate a change. And finally, provide a SUPPORTIVE environment for clients that they will be able to grow and flourish in. Methods therapy, LLC approaches therapy from a holistic standpoint, looking at the whole person. Our take on therapy is one that is a collaborative effort in order to facilitate a change within their clients and provide them with the support needed.
We are now seeking clinicians who enjoy working with children, adolescents, adults, and couples.
Must be licensed in the state of Maryland
Job Type: Part-time, Full-time growth potential
Counseling: 2 years (Required)
Maryland Clinical License Required.
The therapist will complete intake/diagnostic assessments for their assigned client
The therapist will conduct their individual therapy sessions with their assigned clients and complete notes within 24-48 hours of the session
Complete treatment plans every 6 months
Attend Supervision and Treatment Team Meetings
Have the ability to work independently and be proactive to anticipate the needs of their clients
Facilitate groups and also compose materials for groups
Communicate effectively in writing and also in person with clients and other members of the team
Maintain HIPAA compliance regarding patient confidentiality and documents
Exercise integrity and honesty while working with clients and other team members
Use evidence-based treatment modalities in order to aid the client in being successful in therapy
